Summary:
The Security Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Event Security Department as it relates to all events occurring at Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium.
Essential functions of the position include, but not limited to:
Implement event security plan on event days at GLF & Choctaw (MLB events, concerts, other events).
Act as Security Lead on Duty or Assistant Security Lead on Duty for events.
Supervise and coordinate all Security Event Supervisors.
Oversees event day vendor check-in process at venues.
Schedule event staff security personnel for all related events.
Interact with tenants, employees, and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Assist with recruiting and interviewing potential security guard hires.
Assist with the onboarding orientation of new security guard hires.
Assist in scheduling and training event staff security officers.
Assist with credentialing and access control programs.
Responsible for procuring and maintaining inventory of event related equipment.
Attend internal and external security related meetings as needed.
Assist in the management and maintenance of all Security Company Licenses and Records as it relates to security guards.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Must be 21 years of age.
Must be certified or able to be certified in First, Aid, CPR and AED training.
Must be willing to work various schedules, to include days, evenings, nights for event operations.
Must possess effective computer and report writing skills.
Must possess effective verbal and written communications skills.
Good driving record.
Must be able to follow complex instructions and manage multiple tasks.
Must possess the ability to work in a team setting and work alone with little direct oversight.
Must meet all requirements to register with the Texas Department of Public Safety Security Board as required.
Must possess good sound judgement, be objective, be dependable, be in control of emotions, be customer service oriented, be a person of integrity and be professional while carrying out duties.
Must be able to perform one or more to the following activities while performing job tasks related to the position:
walk, stand, climb stairs, climb a ladder, lift 30 pounds, and other physical activities associated with the position.
