SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, self-motivated Senior Project Manager -- Natural Resources, with strong interpersonal skills and experience in natural resources management and biological studies. This individual will successfully drive our projects throughout all phases from early planning and permitting through construction. The individual can reside in Arlington, Texas, or be a distributed (remote) employee while supporting our operations in North Texas. Additional opportunities will be available to work with other offices in the region and across the country. This Senior Project Manager -- Natural Resources will have technical expertise in all aspects of Natural Resource permitting, facility siting and constraints studies, plus agency interactions at all levels. Experience is desired in specialty areas including electric and gas transmission and distribution, renewable energy, and utilities. Skills include the ability to manage large and complex projects and milestones within schedule and budget expectations and primarily be responsible for QA/QC oversight of field data to support report-writing and permitting. The Senior Natural Resources Project Manager will be experienced in managing multiple components and multi-disciplinary staff to complete project permitting requirements. Our Natural Resources program works on diverse natural resources related projects across many business lines, including renewable energies, utilities, infrastructure, transportation, and oil and gas projects. In addition, the Arlington, TX office offers a unique work environment and specializes in natural resources, cultural resources, and permitting/planning. This is a regular, full-time, salaried position. Pay rate will be based on individual qualifications and experience. What you will accomplish Work closely with a project team to develop innovative approaches to resource assessment that meet client needs and can withstand agency and public scrutiny Take initiative and resolve issues to assure client needs are met effectively Lead biological technical assessment and survey efforts including preparing and providing peer review for technical reports and environmental permits such as biological resource assessments and constraints analyses, State and federal endangered species act consultations, CWA Section 404/401 permitting. Conduct scientific assessment and statistical analyses Supervise, mentor, and provide project technical support to project-level biologists Serve as project manager or technical lead on a variety of resource management planning and permitting projects Manage small and large projects, including maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality of service Work with Corporate accounting department to review invoices, expenditures and project audits for projects/tasks Work closely with SWCA's resource scientists and environmental planners, managers and directors in both natural and cultural resources throughout the company to promote SWCA's business interests in adherence to its mission, vision, and values Implement and administer SWCA's safety procedures and standards of scientific and professional ethics Engage in office business development initiatives Manage and direct all aspects of proposal development including team organization, scope development, budget, and assumptions Experience and qualifications for success Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in biology, environmental science, natural resource management, archaeology, anthropology, geology or other related field required; Master's Degree preferred A minimum of nine (9) years combined experience in project management, environmental consulting, and/or ecological/geographical studies required Candidate should have an extensive working knowledge of federal and state laws (e.g., NEPA, NHPA, CWA, and ESA) governing natural resource management as well as specific regulations related to wind energy development Demonstrated experience with federal agencies such as US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), US Forest Service (USFS), and/or US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and other state/local agencies Experience with staff and project team supervision Experience and ability to manage multiple complex projects and programs, in diverse settings and with changing requirements. Texas-related natural resources experience highly preferred. Demonstrated experience working in a face paced work environment and desire to work in a highly collaborative team atmosphere. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
