Flexible shift hours (mid-morning until the afternoon).
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to assist production in the preparation, cleaning, packaging, and shipping of products and materials within the warehouse by performing the following duties.
This facility handles water treatment chemicals.
These chemicals are mostly non-DOT regulated with some being corrosive.
Job Duties Reads work order, follows oral and written instructions to complete tasks.
PPE is required to work in the warehouse.
Loads and unloads materials in the warehouse.
Loads materials into trailers with a forklift and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Transfers materials from storage or work sites to a designated area in the warehouse.
Count, weigh, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
Transfers materials into different packages.
Handle corrosive water treatment chemicals.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on warehouse products.
Lifts heavy objects with a forklift, cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
Keeps warehouse and work areas clean.
Any other projects or tasks assigned by the manager.
Job Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) General computer skills Preferred experience with material handling equipment to include:
stock picker and sit-down forklift.
Physical/Mental Demands & Working Conditions Frequent bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing, and/or reaching.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work in a non-climate controlled environment.
