The Transportation Van Driver, under the direction of the Executive Director, will work with the clinical therapists, other behavior technicians, and educators to ensure safe transport of patients to and from the facility.
The Transportation Van Drivers are responsible for monitoring student behaviors, maintaining safe transport, and communicating with families about pick-up and drop off times and locations.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients from various locations within 30-35 miles to the facility campus and/or other designated locations (90%) and behavioral health tech duties (10%).
This position will maintain a daily log of mileage and gasoline usage and submit all gas receipts to the appropriate person(s).
Responsible for cleaning the interior of the car on a regular basis, assuring the vehicle is presentable for the transport of patients.
Position will also maintain mileage records for the purpose of scheduling routine maintenance.
Responsible for ensuring that patients are supervised; safety is maintained at all times; and patients are treated with respect and dignity.
Follow the schedule to establish healthy routines for students.
Maintain scheduling of all active clients to ensure appointments in the treatment plan are scheduled.
Assist with light to moderate maintenance responsibilities at the Academy.
If necessary, provide crisis intervention services to students to ensure their safety until a professional can access the situation and take over care.
Experience and Education:
High school degree or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance.
Experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, adolescent patients preferred.
At least one (1) year experience driving 15 passenger vans professionally preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service position Job Type:
