Buttermilk Villa Buttermilk Villa Arlington, TX Arlington, TX Temporary Part-time Full-time Contract Temporary Part-time Full-time Contract $75 - $150 a day $75 - $150 a day Duties - Provide personal assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation - Support individuals in maintaining a clean and organized living environment - Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans - Accompany individuals to medical appointments and provide transportation as needed - Foster social interaction and engagement by organizing and participating in recreational activities - Implement behavior support plans and strategies to promote positive behavior - Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress Skills - Experience in social work or related field preferred - Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility limitations - Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders - Familiarity with hospice care principles and practices is a plus - Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and communication purposes - Direct support professional certification or equivalent training is desirable - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals - Compassionate and patient demeanor to provide quality care and support to individuals in need Note:
