Job Description:
Arlington-based Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a reliable and well-organized civil litigation paralegal.
The ideal candidate will be a personable self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment and is able to manage deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Effectively manage client and attorney expectations and provide status updates continually and proactively Manage calendars and deadlines Maintain case files in FileVine Assist with the discovery process for cases in litigation Assist with trial preparations, including preparing and labelling exhibits and coordinating witness schedules Maintain thorough documentation throughout the entire duration of all cases Assisting in the drafting of documents, including affidavits under Chapter 18 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code Familiarize himself/herself with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure Required
Qualifications:
Superior grammar and writing skills Detail-oriented and very well-organized Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, as well as general comfortability with technology and internet use in general Preferred
Qualifications:
Bilingual/Spanish-speaking Paralegal Certification, Associate Degree, and/or Bachelor's Degree Job Type:
