Transfer calls back to office/for lunch/when leaving for the day.
Answer phones in a timely manner (before 3rd ring) Schedule appointments, new referrals, and hospital follow ups.
Email or mail patient packets after making new patient appointments.
Verify patient insurance prior to appointment.
Register patients/collect co-pays/print daily batch on Allscripts/Veradigm PM system.
Scan insurance and ID cards.
Remind Doctor of any meetings.
Take messages from hospitals and patients and relay to the doctor in an efficient manner.
Print schedule for office manager and Doctor and update as needed throughout the day.
2)Check lab printer and fax machines throughout the day.
3)Scan new patient packets and any Home Health Orders.
4)Organize and file any scanned documents, hospital batches etc.
Make sure to fax Consult reports on new patients and PRN.
Front desk position may wear scrubs.
Required days:
T (9-5pm), TH (9-5 pm) F (9-2pm) On Tuesdays the doctor sees patients all day and Thursdays he sees patients in the morning (may be some exceptions and he may want to see patients in the afternoon ) Expectations Be kind to staff and patients, be punctual, reliable and kind Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
