This position may work closely with non-profit organizations, community partners, media, and government agencies to promote food insecurity programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.
Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote organization on various social media.
Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets.
Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
Support marketing team at live and online events/photo/video content shoots.
Perform social media marketing research.
Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms.
Brainstorm and research ideas for original content.
Create compelling graphics to share across social channels.
Write social media captions that speak to target audience.
Help create and edit short-form videos.
Develop new strategies for increasing engagement.
Ensure brand message is consistent.
Main facility hours are Mon - Fri 8:
30-1:
00.
Position requires 10-15 hr/week.
Ability to arrange flexible hours within that range.
$10-$13/hr.
Occasional off hours supporting special events and community activities.
