Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a part-time AR / Office Assistant.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys handling various tasks, from managing accounts receivable duties to providing office support and assisting with project management tasks.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Essential Functions:
Accounts Receivables (AR) Duties:
Create work orders.
Create and send invoices and statements to customers.
Handle correspondence for past due accounts and assist in collections efforts.
Deposit checks to the local bank and apply payments accurately.
Maintain proper record-keeping and filing system for financial documents.
Office Assistant Duties:
Answer and direct calls to the appropriate department.
Provide administrative support to the office manager and other team members as required.
Be a reliable presence in the office during times when the Project Manager and/or Office Manager are unavailable due to tradeshows, job site visits, etc.
Qualifications:
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Experience:
Experience with financial software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains but not required:
willingness to train is essential.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
