Senior Intelligence Specialist

The successful candidate will perform the full range of duties as the Senior Intelligence Specialist.
Such duties include but are not limited to:
1.
Reviews intelligence and internal security documents and prepares and conducts briefings for Regional and/or Headquarters managers, as requested, on substantive intelligence and internal security matters of relevance to NRC.
2.
Researches, categorizes, indexes, controls and disseminates SCI and foreign intelligence documents received by NRC according to security requirements and applicable security directives.
3.
Oversees development of the annual Regional Threat assessments for each Region and performs briefings of these reports to each regional office on an annual basis.
4.
Prepares and conducts briefings for NRC personnel on proper handling and security of intelligence and special access matters.
5.
Reviews and prepares comments on national level documents concerning SCI and special access programs in support of Headquarters SSO staff, as requested The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
1.
Knowledge of national information/intelligence security policies, directives, and procedures 2.
Knowledge of analytical techniques and methods and systems required to select and assemble intelligence information into comprehensive briefing products.
3.
Knowledge of the capabilities, roles and responsibilities of the Intelligence Community and federal law enforcement agencies regarding counterintelligence, and nuclear proliferation, including experience in directly interacting with the Intelligence Community to resolve counterintelligence or insider threat concerns.
4.
Knowledge and demonstrated experience relating to intelligence analysis activities, involving foreign intelligence threats, or experience in conducting time-sensitive, single-topic analyses.
5.
Ability to communicate and present technical information clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
In addition to the basic requirements, to qualify for this position you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as:
Specialized experience includes experience that demonstrates a thorough knowledge and understanding of Federal government information/intelligence security policies, procedures and standards and the interrelationship of these requirements to the NRC Information Security Program.
And highly-developed analytical and communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
