Vehicle Description 1964 Chevrolet C10 Pickup The Chevrolet C/K series was introduced in 1960 and lasted all the way until 2002.
They were direct competitors with the Ford F-Series and the Dodge D-Series trucks.
Out of those though the C/K series has really jumped in popularity in recent years.
These pickups not only brought with them a very different look but for the first generation notable changes were the introduction of a ladder frame for a lower sitting cab and the independent front suspension.
This 1964 Chevy we have listed is a very clean truck and is the very desirable C10 Fleetside short bed big window body style.
It has the 115 inch wheelbase and was fully frame off restored in 2012 after which the current owner purchased it in 2013.
Prior to its restoration it was primarily used as a farm truck and was originally sold in North Carolina where it spent most of its life before coming to Texas.
The exterior has a really nice look and the body is solid.
It is coated in a nice Gray paint combined with a White top and White accent inside of the side trim.
These things have a really long piece of stainless trim down the side and all of it is in great shape as is the rest of the chrome and bright work.
The glass is all good and has been tinted.
One of the coolest features on these old Pickups has to be the wood beds.
This one was redone in the factory correct dark wood with stainless runners.
It also has a bed mounted spare with chrome cover that matches the 4 original style wheels with hubcaps.
Pop the hood on the pickup and you will find the numbers matching original High Torque 283 V8 motor.
It runs really well and was totally rebuilt throughout the restoration process.
The engine has been kept looking very stock with a majority of the components being painted Chevrolet Orange or Black as they would originally.
The entire compartment however incorporates a painted to match firewall and Gloss Black on the inner fenders and underside of the hood.
This gives it a very clean show ready look.
The motor is topped off with a 2 barrel carburetor and connected to a 3 on the tree manual transmission.
The interior is done in a light bronze color and every thing had a very original look.
The bench seat is nicely upholstered in a two tone combo and has no rips or tears.
Give this truck a new home for $46,500.
