Vehicle Description 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup When Mr.
Henry Ford perfected the mass production assembly line he changed the world.
Average consumers could now afford reliable transportation as the way he designed his vehicles greatly reduced their cost.
Simple things like offering 4 basic color combinations might have limited options but made it possible to sell a whopping 2 million Model A's by July of 1929.
As they approach their 100th anniversary these things are getting harder and harder to find.
This Roadster Pickup is a more desirable body style and is all original steel.
This is an extremely clean Model A and is a national show winner.
It is painted in a nice Green and Black color combination with a Black roadster top.
The truck wears a lot of its stock original features like its original horn and original bumpers.
The bed has all been redone and is in excellent condition with wood stake sides.
Being a roadster it doesn't have side windows but does come with snap on side curtains.
It sits on its original Yellow spoke wheels with a matching left side spare with chrome Ford center caps and Firestone tires.
Under the 4 piece louvered hood is its original 201 CID L head inline 4 cylinder motor that runs well.
The motor and engine compartment all looks very stock and painted in Green but it has an alternator in place of a generator.
A battery cut off switch has also been added.
The radiator on it is new as are the hoses.
The transmission is a 3 speed manual that shifts smoothly.
The undercarriage of the truck is all solid and all painted.
The interior is all nicely restored with a reupholstered Black bench seat.
The dash has a nicely painted Green and wears the stock style chrome bezel.
This is a great looking truck and has to be one of the nicer examples of a Model A Roadster Pickup still on the road.
