Vehicle Description 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza The Corvair was introduced by Chevrolet in 1960 as a response to the Volkswagen Beetle.
It remains the only mass produced American made car with a rear air cooled engine.
It was named to pay homage to the Corvette and famous Bel Air.
They have a dedicated following with clubs being entirely dedicated to the Corvair.
1965 was the first year of the 2nd generation and saw both technological improvements and exterior changes.
