1 of 12
Vehicle Description 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle The Chevelle was one of Chevrolets most popular models and was based on GM's A body platform.
There were 3 generations produced between 1964 and 1978 after which it was replaced by the Malibu which was previously a trim level of Chevelle.
These mid size cars fit right into the muscle car craze and have a huge following.
While the second generation all had a similar body shape the 2 distinct front ends were very different throughout the years.
1972 was the last year before a major redesign and qualified as America's 2nd best selling car.
This Chevelle has been totally redone and has been in the same family here in Texas since 1992.
It is totally rust free and has been repainted in White with a wide Orange center stripe running over the cowl hood and rear deck.
The chrome bumpers have a nice shine as does the stainless trim around the windows.
The dual taillights, headlights and side markers are all working properly.
The glass is in good condition and is tinted.
The car has new tires on the American Torq Thrust wheels.
The fronts are 15x7 and rears 15x8.
The car runs and drives great with a 350 crate motor.
The motor was installed 15 years ago but has less than 1,000 miles on it.
It has a new radiator, new belts, new fan shroud, Edelbrock valve covers, a chrome air cleaner, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake, and Holley 570 cfm carburetor.
The transmission is a Turbo 350 automatic and it has a 10 bolt rear end.
The car sounds good through its dual exhaust into stock mufflers.
The car really is a comfortable car to drive with power steering and power brakes.
The front are disc and it has drums in the rear.
The suspension is mostly stock but air shocks have been added in the rear.
The interior is all redone in custom Brown leather.
The seats, headliner, carpet, and door panels were all redone.
It has dual high back bucket seats with a custom center console that has cupholders and the B&M shifter.
The original gauges are in place but a second set of Equus gauges were added for temp and oil pressure.
All of the gauges and controls work well with no problems.
The aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM/CD player has a great sound through kick panel and package tray speakers.
A Vintage AC/Heat system was also added and works well.
The trunk is carpeted and houses a spare.
This nice Chevelle has a lot going for it and is being offered up at a very reasonable price.
It could be yours for only $31,500.
