Vehicle Description 1931 Ford Model A The Model A was introduced in 1927 as a follow up to the Model T's previous 18 years of success.
It proved to be just as successful with 1 million of them being sold by the time February of 1929 rolled around.
From there sales jumped even further and by 5 months later in July that number doubled to 2 million.
When production ended in 1932 nearly 5 million Model A's had been sold and it was clear automotive travel had taken the world by storm.
This Model A Deluxe Coupe is one of the cleanest examples of a Model A we have ever seen.
The complete frame off restoration was very well done and it has 6,000 miles on it since being finished.
The body is all steel and the two tone Tacoma Cream with Medium Copper metallic has a great shine.
It is all solid with no rust throughout.
The car has been kept very stock and original.
It has the dual side mounts with covers which is a rare option.
The glass is all in good condition including the push out windshield and the window deflectors on each side are etched.
The car wears its original chrome bumpers, chrome headlights with headlight bar, chrome grill shell, and original taillights.
The cowl lights have been converted to turn signals and along with the 6V alternator instead of a generator are the only non factory items.
All of the chrome is in excellent condition.
It has a rumble seat in the back and a separate leather trunk with cover to store all your car show gear.
The rides on spoke painted to match wheels with wide white wall tires.
All of the tires are fresh including the spares.
The motor is the stock 200.
5ci 4 cylinder that runs great.
Everything under the 4 piece steel hood is very cleanly done and looks good.
The motor starts up smoothly and is paired with a 3 speed manual transmission.
It is a 6 volt positive ground system and the car just received a fresh battery.
The underside is very nice with a majority of the stock components being painted Black.
The original style interior features Brown cloth upholstery and a bench seat.
The shifter is routed through the floor and it also has a floor mounted emergency brake handle.
The dash has been kept all stock and the gauges all work properly.
They are mounted in a chrome bezel which has a nice shine.
The rear window even has its original curtain in place.
The car comes with an original Model A instruction book as well as a Model A Mechanical Handbook.
We always hesitate to call an old car perfect but this one truly is.
It needs absolutely nothing except a new garage to call home.
You couldn't build it for our asking price of $31,750.
